Fees and Fundraising
There is no membership fee or annual dues. The core training program is provided free of charge and the uniform is issued for the duration of membership. However, cadets, with the support of their parents/guardians, are encouraged to raise $180 per year through their participation in squadron fundraising activities or by making a donation to the squadron. This enables the squadron to cover our annual fees to the Air Cadet League of Canada, and to provide activities not paid for by the Canadian Forces, such as awards, social events, familiarization flights, training/sports facilities rental, and much more.
If you are able to make a donation in support of the Squadron, there are several possible payment options:
-
By cheque payable to 100 Laval Squadron
-
One-time $180 online donation via Interac at 100.treasurer@cadetsair.ca
-
Monthly $15 online donations via our via Interac at 100.treasurer@cadetsair.ca
-
For anyone who does not wish to make an annual donation, there will be several fundraising events throughout the year, and cadets are expected to participate in these activities.
-
The squadron is always looking for new corporate, foundation, and individual donors. If you know of anyone who might be interested in supporting the squadron, please contact us. Anyone who facilitates an external donation will be exempt from the annual fundraising campaigns.
