There is no membership fee or annual dues for the cadets program. The core training program is provided free of charge and the uniform is issued for the duration of membership.
However the SSC must insure funding for the annual fees payable to the Air Cadet League of Canada (assessment fees) and to provide activities not paid for by the Canadian Forces such as rent, awards, social events, familiarization flights, training/sports facilities rental and much more.
Cadets, with the support of their parents/guardians, are encouraged to raise $180 per year through their participation in squadron fundraising activities or by making a donation to the squadron.
